Working in the space between cinema and contemporary art, Xavier Cunilleras creates installations that are often described as poetic and slow-paced, with a focus on introspection, spirituality, and the relationship between human beings and nature. Using symbolism and dreamlike imagery to explore themes of memory, loss, and the human condition. By using unconventional narrative structures, expanding and contracting the sensation of time and playing with the use of sound and music, which helps to create a sense of atmosphere and emotional resonance.
